Hi everyone,
A few months ago I had an article at Radiant Magazine about finding your family prayer style (i.e. what to do if your current family prayers feel just too hard). The article is here.
And here is the post at the Hollow about it:
Anyhow, a wonderful Irish podcast out of West Limerick asked to interview me about the article! Unfortunately I was unable to join them in the end (ahemmybookmanuscriptistakingovermylifeahem). Nevertheless, Shane and John created a wonderful episode focused on the article and adding extra thoughts and tips on praying together as a family. I heartily enjoyed it — and they even kindly played a piece of music that I had suggested.
Give it a listen! I think you may learn something from these thoughtful commentators and their view of prayer with children, as I did:
Wasn’t that wonderful? You can also listen to the longer version of the episode on the same website.
Do consider following the podcast, especially if you are Catholic or another type of “high church” Christian! I hope to have a chance to join Shane and John on another episode sometime in Advent.
And now, please tell us:
Has your family prayer style changed over time?
What has worked best for you?
Have you tried any of the recommendations in the podcast (or article)?
Have a wonderful day,
Our family prayer style is "get through a decade while being climbed on by cats." 🤔
