Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!
What a joy to have reached this day. Today I’m celebrating with a special Christmassy post at the Arena on the subject of a particular version of a particular Christmas song about that particular Dickensian Christmas party pooper, Ebenezer Scrooge.
Read it here:
“Ebenezer Scrooge and the Shanty Band”
I hope you will enjoy this song as much as I do — whether just for its fun or for its broader meaning.
Merry Christmas!

ha! This is great! I'm over here laughing because the Muppets Christmas Carol is actually my favorite version of Dicken's story. I really should start a tradition with my family where we watch it every year. Scratch that. I should start a tradition where I bribe my kids with cookies to watch it with me. lol. I'm not sure they love it as much as me. But it is best viewed with others (complete with a peanut gallery).
I enjoyed the article! When I start to grumble about the work associated with a merry Christmas, I’ll just start to sing, “Here comes Mr. Humbug…” That should cheer me right up!
