Welcome back! So glad to hear it was wonderful and I hope settling back in is going ok too. (jet lag is the absolute worst! Although I find going that direction easier. It’s still usually 10 days before I’m 100% transitioned, time-wise.)
Thanks! I'm encouraged by your saying it takes you 10 days! The jet lag is intense right now! Re-entry has been somewhat tough but each day will get better, I'm sure.
Oh, 10 days is the average. Sometimes it's two weeks. I know others who can do it much more quickly but my body just doesn't find it natural. (Probably because it's not :))
Yay! I'm so glad it was a good trip! What a pilgrimage! I was thinking of you all walking a couple weeks ago and hoping it was an adventure, so glad to hear it was!
Thanks, Dixie! It was great walking with you, sharing insights (and blister pain!), and meeting so many wonderful fellow pilgrims. We too have now returned to the Camino of daily life -- although we are still processing the things we learned and experienced.
The processing will go on for a long time, I think. But I know one thing already: that it was a gift and privilege to be the blister on the group's pinky toe! ;)
Still getting over the jet lag too, Dixie. It was so wonderful getting to spend time with you and all the others in our group. I think you described the Camino so well. Walkim
It was such a privilege and a pleasure to spend time with you and John, Sharon! Please let John know I am praying for his sisters. Good luck with the jet lag -- I know you're dealing with an even bigger time change than I am!
I'm so, so glad that you had a wonderful pilgrimage, and even happier that you are back! I can't wait to hear all about it!

These reflections were beautiful.

Thanks so much, Christy! It absolutely was!

(Oops!)Walking and talking, and sometimes just walking and thinking and praying. I have a lot to process as I get back to real life.😊

P.S. Sharon, I wore a pair of Feetures on my walk today -- great recommendation! I think they really helped.
Glad to hear it!
Walking 5 miles per day changed my life in a great way.
Walking has always helped me. This long walk was a great reset! I'm hoping to do 5 miles most days going forward.
I love hearing how this walk shaped you! Walking is such a great metaphor for faith, encouraged by this and putting the Camino on my bucket list . . .
The Camino should definitely go on your bucket list! I hope you get to do it someday.
