I think I enjoyed your “don’t” recommendation the most, haha! I’m sure many teachers feel the same way about that particular book. I think this gift is probably outdated because most run on cards now, but someone gifted me a huge container of quarters for laundry, and it was such a thoughtful and useful gift — it’s such a pain to track then down when you need clean clothes. An electric kettle is also an excellent gift for a high school or college grad! Everyone needs tea on demand :) (Just maybe know how far they have to travel and ship it later on if it’s far away)

Okay, what a fantastic gift a bag of quarters would be! (If the machines take quarters, as you say.)

Good call on the kettle, too -- everybody had one of those in my college days! A small microwave would also be a great gift.

We got a tea kettle as a wedding gift and it was 100% one of our favorite and most-used of all the gifts.
